Savannah is one of the oldest cities in the United States, rich in history and culture. Established in 1733 by General James Edward Oglethorpe, Savannah was designed as a planned city with a unique layout that features public squares and parks. Today, Savannah is a popular tourist destination and home to a thriving arts community. It is also home to my novel, Second Chance Savannah.
I chose this setting for Second Chance Savannah because it is one of my favorite cities in America. So full of history but also a layer of romance and mystery rolled into one. Sitting on the shore, I was able to grasp the beauty that is Savannah fully. From my keyboard to the written manuscript, my characters came to life.
